Po wojnie budowano j\u0105 w\u0142a\u015bciwie od podstaw, przede wszystkim poprzez zakupy i dary, a tak\u017ce egzemplarze ksi\u0105\u017cek, kt\u00f3re znajdowa\u0142y si\u0119 w\u015br\u00f3d rewindykowanych z r\u00f3\u017cnych stron Europy archiwali\u00f3w. Obecnie biblioteka s\u0142u\u017cy potrzebom pracownik\u00f3w archiwum oraz u\u017cytkownik\u00f3w korzystaj\u0105cych z materia\u0142\u00f3w archiwalnych w czytelni.<\/p>\n<p>Biblioteka gromadzi publikacje z zakresu historii Polski, historii powszechnej, nauk pomocniczych historii, w tym genealogii, heraldyki, sfragistyki, paleografii oraz archiwistyki.
